ASSAM BALL-LEAF

SIMPLY STRONG IN TASTE.

A strong tea whose special production method results in a brown, small-balled leaf. When infused, it is dark red, and its taste reveals a full malty body. It is a clear favourite for East Frisians and English people, who often drink it with milk or cream.

"The coarse brown 'Klunje' (sugar lump) perfectly complements the malty black tea in terms of taste. First put the rock sugar in the cup, then pour in the tea - then it really "crunches" in the cup!"
