This pot, made of black clay or white porcelain, is perfectly shaped. Its modern yet classic appearance allows it to fit in anywhere, making it the star of all tea-related occasions. The rest is also a nonplus ultra of Japanese ceramic art. The lid closes airtight, and of course, the pot doesn't drip. A small projection on the handle makes it very easy to hold, so you never have to touch the pot's body and burn your fingers. The integrated sieve is made of the same material, finely meshed, allowing loose tea to unfold freely in the pot. In the dark pot, the iron particles of the clay react with the theine, promoting a soft, sweet taste. It is produced in Aichi Prefecture from a type of clay rich in iron.
