A kyusu, shaped like a vase, made from brownish-red clay. The delicate spout harmonizes perfectly in size and form with the body of the pot. Chrysanthemum, maple, and wave adorn the pot, and we immerse ourselves in the imagery of Japanese symbolism. This pot is equipped with a hand-pierced ceramic filter.
Kyusu are particularly suitable for all types of Japanese green teas. The leaves can unfold freely in the pot and are held back in the pot by the filter in front of the spout. Since Japanese green tea is infused multiple times, it is important that no water remains in the pot after each infusion to prevent over-steeping.
