The finely ground Houjicha is reminiscent of kilned grain or the well-known Caffè d'orzo. The ground brown tea can be enjoyed hot or cold. Pure or with plant milk. And of course, in fine patisserie as well. Like our Houji Nougat Tarte.

Preparation for Cold Drink

• In the blender, 3 ice cubes, soy milk, a little vanilla + 2 bamboo spoons of Hōuji Powder. Blend it and enjoy!
• Hōuji affogato - Put 2 bamboo spoons of Houji Powder in a bowl, pour 80 °C hot water over it, then whisk with a bamboo whisk, e.g., Chasen 80 smoked. Drown a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the bowl. Sounds quite dangerous - but it's just fun and tastes great!
