KOJI TAMA

Tamaryokucha, also called Guricha ("curly tea"), is a noble green tea similar to Sencha. It has a fresh, slightly berry-like taste with an almondy aftertaste and a hint of lemon.

A perfect blend from the tea gardens of Kumamoto and Nagasaki. After harvesting, the young tea leaves are steamed and rolled into small comma-shaped leaves.

This traditional method preserves the essential oils in the leaves, giving the tea its rich aroma and its soft, balanced taste, which subtly changes with each subsequent infusion.
