CHASEN - FOAM WHISK ...

The Chasen "tea whisk" is used to whisk matcha. Made from a single piece, it is intricately handcrafted. We are often asked if matcha can be whisked with an electric milk frother. You can! But it's really easy with the Chasen. After some practice, we hear the sound of a wing beat, concentration moves below the navel. The preparation itself already has a clarifying and centering effect. The fine bubbles form a homogeneous, creamy, firm foam layer.

CHASHAKU - FROM HERE TO THERE.

A Cha (tea) Shaku (spoon) is used for dosing matcha. Carved from one piece and bent into shape over hot steam. It is designed so that it can dip into any package and container to safely transport the precious powder to the desired location.

Preparation

TRADITIONAL

• Preparation | Fill the tea bowl with some hot water, move the tea whisk in the water. Pour out the water.
• Add 2 bamboo scoops of matcha to the tea bowl.
• Fill 1/5 of the tea bowl with 80°C hot water.
• Whisk the matcha thoroughly until foamy with a zigzag motion.
• ENJOY YOUR MATCHA!!!
• Finishing | Clean tea bowl + tea whisk under running water. Press the tea whisk onto the stand with some pressure + remove from the stand + air dry.
• Clean the tea spoon with a slightly damp cloth.
