TUSHITA GALLERY
In September 2019, we opened the Tushita Gallery just around the corner from our Teahouse, at Westermühlstraße 23.
Throughout history, many art forms have emerged around tea, and with this gallery we want to give them a place where they can be seen and appreciated — a space where people can encounter tea and its philosophy.

THE GALLERY
The Tushita Gallery is a space for both emerging and established art that reflects the values of tea: harmony, respect, purity, and stillness.
Seasonal exhibitions explore nature, ritual, sound, movement, and cultural practices. Rather than presenting art as a consumer good, the Tushita Gallery invites all visitors to engage with it at their own pace.
Being right next to the teahouse and its philosophy, the gallery allows for an even closer connection between the world of tea and art.
