REFRESHES THE MIND AND CALMS THE HEART.
Our Temple Matcha is usually only passed on to ZEN monasteries and SHINTO shrines. Thanks to our long-standing friendship with a ZEN flute school, we are fortunate to receive this Matcha in a limited edition. In fact, its stimulating and relaxing character is in absolute harmony.
"Equally suitable for individual enjoyment (Usucha) and the tea ceremony (Koicha). You will love it!"

News
Due to the enormous increase in demand for Japanese Matcha tea in recent months, there are currently major supply difficulties for our high-quality ceremonial Matcha from Uji, as well as from all other tea-growing regions in Japan.
The production of our Ceremonial is a lengthy and complex process, involving a high amount of labor that culminates when the dried tea is time-consumingly ground into fine powder in granite stone mills.
Our Temple Matcha, which we have been importing in small quantities for 15 years, has significantly increased in price, and the available quantities have also been increasingly reduced in recent months. Therefore, we unfortunately have to gradually increase our prices to react to these fluctuations.
Fortunately, we have been able to keep the prices for DAO Cha, Tānchō, and Hirō relatively stable. All our teas still come from the heartland of Japan and are, of course, organic. Thanks to our long-standing business relationships with Japanese organic tea farmers, we are in the fortunate position of being able to open up new sources in the future.
